It's been a long time since I rock-and-rolled.
It's been a long time since I did "The Stroll".
Let me get’it back, let me get’it back, let me get’it back.
Baby, where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time, been a long... (Yes, it has)
It's been a long time since "The Book of Love".
I can't count the tears of a life with no love.
Carry me back, carry me back, carry me back!
Baby, where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time, been a long...
It's been so long since we walked in the moonlight,
making vows, that just can't work right.
Open your arms, open your arms, open your arms!
Baby, let my love come running! Yeah!
It's been a long time, been a long time, been a long...
It's been a long time, been a long time, been a long
Lonely! Lonely! Lonely! Lonely!...
Lonely! Lonely! Lonely! Lonely!...
Lonely! Lonely! Lonely! Lonely time.
I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.
This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all. potaytoes
A terrifically woozy slab of psychedelic stoner rock, where big riffs grind against saxophones, omnichords, and more. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 17, 2018
